A word from the artist, "I LOVE using watercolours! I find its medium simply magical to work with and always an excitement when it creates unexpected beautiful effects such as watermarks. I naturally work with a loose style, and I like to use a lot of water when I paint to create layered effects. I begin by creating pockets of detail and I like to leave sections out for curiosity to the viewer taking a ‘less is more’ approach. I like to add in additional unexpected colour to create lift, which brings my atmospheric paintings to life and an element of sophistication is created." Jennifer Rose
